From Breakthrough to Scale.

Niron Magnetics was born in Minnesota with a breakthrough in materials science: a new class of permanent magnets made using iron and nitrogen, without relying on rare earth materials. The material was only the beginning. Today, Niron is turning that innovation into a manufacturing capability built for scale. This session explores Niron’s evolution from early-stage technology development to commercial manufacturing, including how the company has grown its technology, team, and operations while maintaining a focus on domestic production and supply chains. At the center of this next chapter is Niron’s commercial manufacturing plant in Sartell, Minnesota.
